MEET OUR PREACHER

Ed Slayton is a Georgia native.
    He came from Atlanta to David Lipscomb College in 1962 and has a  B.S. From Lipscomb in 1966 , an M.A. from MTSU in 1968. For 33 years he worked as a middle school teacher and principal in Williamson Co. and David Lipscomb until he retired in 2000.

    Ed has served as Dean of the Nashville School of Preaching and Biblical Studies since 2010, and Preached for 4 congregations over the last 54 years when he came to College Grove in the summer of 2014.
